What does the Art Action Union actually do?
+ The Art Action Union does whatever it can to make a positive artistic splash in people's faces, generally through the internet and social media. Also I have conducted AAU workshops, presentations and found media promotion such as radio and press. We collect interested and passionate people as part of the "collective" and thus we also create an audience of sharing and caring folk. Using our pages we provoke positive discussion amongst members and sometimes encourage art protests or collective actions.
+ We can promote your artwork to our audience.
+ We can promote your projects, exhibitions, gigs etc. through our networks (provided they are community or activist orientated).
Where is the Art Action Union based?
+ We aim to incorporate as global an audience as posible, although - I have limited resources as such so we don't have advanced language services etc. However, we invite anyone who wants to participate from anywhere in the world to join with us. The Facilitator of the AAU is based in the East Coast of Australia though, so there is often a bias in the presentation of some issues. Having said this, we encourage YOU to post articles and interesting pieces from where YOU are.
Is the Art Action Union a registered non-profit organisation?
+ No. I do this because it works and people dig it. If you would like to help with the financial production you may be interested in purchasing some of our Merchandise (More Available Online Soon). Funds contributed will be used to cover web hosting and domain charges.
How can I get involved?
+ There are a few ways to get involved in the cyber fashion, joining our facebook or twitter pages are one way. Or, if you have a project that you think we can help with send an email to our contact email. You can see examples of the projects we've taken part in below. You can join our email list for blog updates, or join one of the galleries on the links page. Please do not send art via email.
